New York’s must-see places

New York welcomes approximately 50 million visitors from around the world each year. Once you arrive, do not hesitate to visit all the famous districts of the city that never sleeps. Whether you are alone or as a couple or even as a family, it will be difficult for you to get bored in the City of Light.

Times Square :

Who has never dreamed of visiting the famous Times Square, the district of lights and theatres and especially known for its giant screens broadcasting commercial films.

Located in the famous Manhattan district, Times Squares is the most famous and liveliest place in the world with its giant, bright screens. There are also the largest commercial brands and many stores such as Disney stores, M&M’s and Toys R us.

Wall Street:

Historically Wall Street is a New York street where the New York Stock Exchange is located. In everyday language, the New York Stock Exchange is also called Wall Street. It is one of the largest stock exchanges in the world.

If you want to attend the atmosphere of traders and businessmen, I advise you rather to visit the district and the Wall Street stock exchange on weekdays between 10am and 4pm.

Don’t forget to take souvenir photos of the Wall Street bull in Bowling Green Park. According to legend, touching the bull would bring luck and fortune, so don’t hesitate to visit it !

Luna Park :

Luna Park is an amusement park located south of Brooklyn. It is the oldest park in the United States. You will surely enjoy it whether you are in love or with your family.

At Luna Park, you can choose the type of attraction that suits you best. There are three types of extreme thrill attraction (EXTREME THRILL), high thrill (MODERATE THRILL), and medium thrill (MILD THRILL).

Luna Park is not open all year round, it is open from April until the end of October.

Indeed, the visit of the Luna Park requires a certain organization. It takes about 1 hour by subway from Times Square.

 

5th Avenue a New York:

Who has never heard of New York’s famous Fifth Avenue. This is the most famous avenue in New York that you've probably seen in many American series and movies like Gossip Girl and Sex and City. Here are four reasons to choose the most expensive avenue in the world:

  • Known and recognized worldwide, New York’s 5th Avenue is wellknown for shopping and luxury. It includes all the major luxury brands such as Cartier, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and many others. The shops are all bigger and more luxurious than any other city.

If you love literature, the New York Public Library is the perfect place for quiet reading.

The library contains millions of books and several reading rooms of magnificent architecture. Several films have been shot in New York Public Library including the famous Harry Potter.

Access to the New York Public Library is free and completely free. So don’t hesitate to read and visit this magnificent library of fine American art.
